Perfume Dessert Review

By Ramona Jessica Nadong - August 21, 2018

Purchasing and having your very own signature scent can be quite challenging because there are some factors that you need to consider when buying perfumes which I do not really know but all that I know is not all scents will work well with everyone as there are some factors that you need to consider like if you are acidic or if you're sweaty because it will affect with the overall scent of the product.

I've been loving the scents of Vanilla and Sakura all over my body because it compliments us well but when it comes to perfume, I've been loving Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom and Honey layered with Peony and Blush Suede- it is my all-time favorite.

But let's admit it, it's too expensive- a bottle of Jo Malone here in the Philippines is crazy so I tend not to use mine daily rather I'd like to wear them on certain occasion because it's just too pricey so I have no choice but finding the perfect body spray that would compliment my body.

Perfume Dessert had a wide range of dessert-themed scents that would suit everyone's needs and personality.

Available scents:
  • Peach Bourbon Popsicle
  • Cucumber Melon Cooler
  • Rasberry Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Sakura
Among the 4 scents available, Sakura is the only one that is not dessert-themed but I'm cool with it since my favorite scent includes that.

Packaging

I'm loving the package of this scents, its bottle is round glass with a sticker and the over-all cover was the cylindrical box of some sort made of a hard type of paper material and I think it's absolutely amazing and it looks so fancy despite its affordable price.

The bottle has a sticker label filled with all the information that you will be needing like the ingredients and the period of opening indicator which is 12 months.

Price: 250 pesos for 30ml

The spray of this perfume is really fine but one spray can reach a huge part of your body. I really love it because it does save more product.

Performance

Scent: First and foremost, I really love their scents, it's stronger than my liking though but it's not getting to the point that I'm feeling sick and start to sneeze. The Blackberry Vanilla Ice Cream was on the stronger side and I feel like the Blackberry is overpowering the scent of vanilla but it was still sweet scent for me. Personally, when I wear this scent, I refrain from over spraying because if I didn't, I might sneeze throughout the day. On the other hand, Sakura, one of my favorite scents is really sweet. I really am loving this, in fact, I always bring this bottle everywhere I go because I used this whenever I need touch-ups throughout the day.

Longevity: Surprisingly, it didn't evaporate easily compared to other perfumes that I've tried, it stayed in my body for good 5 hours maximum and whenever I do touch ups, I still feel so refreshed and what's better this product didn't react when I sweat because some perfumes made me smell bad after.

With the price of only 250 pesos and its performance on me, I'm really amazed by the product and I'm looking forward to trying the more of their scents. If you're interested in trying their products, go ahead and visit their facebook page at Perfume Dessert.
