My Current Skin Care & Tips on How to Take Care of Your Skin

Having a blemish free skin is one of the things that we always wish for, I am one of you guys, I always envy those Korean glass skin that I always see them on pictures and how I wish that I could just transfer their beautiful skin to mine- but it can't. Don't get me wrong, I'm really thankful and contented with the skin that I have, however, I'm still constantly looking for skin care products that would give the consistency that I need because for some reason, my skin type is changing every other month and I don't have no idea why.

For me, finding your perfect foundation is just as important as finding your best skin care because investing for a good skin care products will give you a long-term result, and you'll thank yourself one day when you did that.

My Current Skin Care Products

For some reason, my skin changed into oily dry, I just don't understand how come did my scalp, skin and lips became so dry all of a sudden so I'm looking for ways to deeply moisturize my skin, lips and scalp. One of the reasons I'm thinking why my skin got weird all of a sudden is because of my birth control injection. I feel like it's now showing a weird effect on my skin.

Clean & Clear Deep Action Cleanser

I'm using this as my everyday cleanser, I love this because my skin doesn't feel so tight after using this, it controlled my oiliness and deeply cleanse my face most especially when I wear make-up. I also love that it doesn't have a strong scent on my skin. I normally use this every morning and night.

Nature Republic Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera Soothing Gel

This is a trending product that I always see on my news feed, I got interested and bought this to see the claims are true, so when I tried this, the effect did not show right away, after a week, I noticed that my pimple marks are starting to face then it made my skin more hydrated. Not only did I use this on my face, I use it for my whole body.

Eskinol Pimple Fighting Facial Deep Cleanser

I don't use a toner that often, I only use this whenever I wear make-up to make sure that my skin is squeaky clean. This helps my pimple marks to lighten (together with the Nature Republic Aloe Gel) I also love that this doesn't have any strong scent.

Some even use it on their armpits to lighten. Have you tried it? How was your experience?

Human Nature Sunflower Beauty Oil

Before when I'm removing makeup I used just baby wipes (the ones that my baby used) but then I tried several products but didn't work well for me because my skin gets irritated so I tried petroleum jelly however it massively made my skin oily so I tried organic products and this product is first on my list. I really liked it because it does remove my waterproof mascara just fine. I'm just really amazed by this product.

Also, this is also a really versatile product, I also use this to whiten my underarms caused by my pregnancy which luckily works pretty well.

Angel Skin Skin Clarifying Bar

I recently used this before I used the Clean & Clear. That time my skin was really breaking out like crazy, I'm really desperate and looking for other things that would stop my skin from breaking out. Angel Skin sent this to me and I immediately tried the skin clarifying bar because I am really interested in the product's claims.

Luckily, it does lessen the pimples and it eventually fades away. However, it did not lighten my skin and it made my skin so oily so I decided to change it to Clean & Clear.

iWhite Korea Products

I've been an avid user of this products because I really love purchasing their sachets, it's much cheaper most especially when you're trying a new product. I am still using their facial cream as my sunblock because it has SPF 15 which our skin needs whenever we go out. The Whitening Sleeping Cream Mask is also on my most favourite products to try because it deeply moisturizes my skin whenever I use this and leave it overnight. The Aqua Moisturizer, however, did not work well on my skin for a very long time. I like how it left my skin matte but after some time, it made my skin oily just like any other moisturizer that I've tried.

Other Tips on Taking Care of your skin
  1. Sleep 7 to 8 hours
This is really important because sleeping helps our skin to rejuvenate. You would notice that even though you already put tons of makeup on your face but still look tired, maybe you didn't get much sleep that your body needs.
  2. Drink water
Water makes wonders, I know you probably have read this in all skin care blogs but this really works. It does make my skin so hydrated and glowing.
  3. Give your skin a break
Don't use makeup when you don't need to. Let your skin breathe from all the makeup products that you're using.
